On March 31, 2016 — about a 15-minute drive from Hillary Clinton's huge mansion in Chappaqua, New York — a large group of Bernie Sanders supporters were camped outside SUNY Purchase College in Westchester County where Clinton was about to hold a pep rally. She had about 500 of her supporters at the college campus. Meanwhile, about 30 miles south, Bernie Sanders held a campaign rally at St. Mary’s Park in the Bronx, where about 15,000 of his supporters showed up.
UPDATE: Not only did Bernie Sanders end up winning more votes in New York than Barack Obama did in 2008, but Bernie also won more votes than both Donald Trump and John Kasich combined. Bernie had also lost by a narrower margin than Obama did in 2008 against Hillary Clinton. (But I didn't hear the mainstream media mention any of that. They just said is was a "BIG WIN" for Hillary Clinton.)

Bud
In botany, a bud is an undeveloped or embryonic shoot and normally occurs in the axil of a leaf or at the tip of a stem. Once formed, a bud may remain for some time in a dormant condition, or it may form a shoot immediately. Buds may be specialized to develop flowers or short shoots, or may have the potential for general shoot development. The term bud is also used in zoology, where it refers to an outgrowth from the body which can develop into a new individual.
Overview
The buds of many woody plants, especially in temperate or cold climates, are protected by a covering of modified leaves called scales which tightly enclose the more delicate parts of the bud. Many bud scales are covered by a gummy substance which serves as added protection. When the bud develops, the scales may enlarge somewhat but usually just drop off, leaving on the surface of the growing stem a series of horizontally-elongated scars. By means of these scars one can determine the age of any young branch, since each year's growth ends in the formation of a bud, the formation of which produces an additional group of bud scale scars. Continued growth of the branch causes these scars to be obliterated after a few years so that the total age of older branches cannot be determined by this means.

Bernie Sanders
Bernard "Bernie" Sanders (born September 8, 1941) is an American politician and the junior United States Senator from Vermont. He is a candidate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. A Democrat as of 2015, Sanders had been the longest-serving independent in U.S. congressional history, though his caucusing with the Democrats entitled him to committee assignments and at times gave Democrats a majority. Sanders has been the ranking minority member on the Senate Budget Committee since January 2015, and previously served for two years as chair of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
Sanders was born and raised in the New York City borough of Brooklyn and graduated from the University of Chicago in 1964. While a student, he was an active civil rights protest organizer for the Congress of Racial Equality and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. After settling in Vermont in 1968, Sanders ran unsuccessful third-party campaigns for governor and U.S. senator in the early to mid-1970s. As an independent, he was elected mayor of Burlington, Vermont's most populous city, in 1981, and was reelected three times. In 1990, he was elected to represent Vermont's at-large congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. In 1991, Sanders co-founded the Congressional Progressive Caucus. He served as a congressman for 16 years before being elected to the U.S. Senate in 2006. In 2012, he was reelected with 71% of the popular vote. During the 2016 presidential primaries, Sanders became the first self-described democratic socialist and first Jewish American to win a presidential primary of a major party, namely the New Hampshire primary.

Meanwhile, about 30 miles south, Bernie Sanders held a campaign rally at St. Mary’s Park in the Bronx, where about 15,000 of his supporters showed up.
UPDATE: Not only did Bernie Sanders end up winning more votes in New York than Barack Obama did in 2008, but Bernie also won more votes than both Donald Trump and John Kasich combined. It was reported that she was then driven to her daughter's home (and not a medical facility), who lives close by — but reporters were not allowed to follow her SUV when she left the ceremony.
About 90 minutes later, after leaving the ceremony, she emerged from her daughter's building and was approached my a child "prop" for a photo-op before getting back into her SUV after telling everyone she felt fine.
While in Cleveland last week she had a big coughing fit that she blamed on allergies (link below), but pollen levels in Cleveland that day were only moderate. The following day on her campaign plane, Clinton told reporters that her allergies flared up twice a year and that she was on antihistamines. “I just upped my antihistamine load to try to break through it. It lasts a couple days, and then it disappears." But her campaign jet is hermetically sealed, so we're not sure what she is supposed to be allergic to. Wikileaks upcoming release (October Surprise) is more "significant" than DNC leaks, and why we haven't seen Assange on Clinton's cable networks — CNN or MSNBC --- because they've been too busying reporting gossip on Donald Trump and replaying sound bites from Hillary Clinton's latest speech, rather than doing real investigative journalism.
Assange says the DNC leaks have led to other sources to come forward -- but he says they have very little that would be incriminating to Trump because almost everything they could release comes directly Trump's mouth "every second day" (and dutifully reported 24/7 by CNN and MSNBC).
And yes, Hillary Clinton did create ISIS ... starting with Libya. She was the leading architect for its invasion and kept a "tick-tock list" as she over-rode the generals decisions to invade. Julian Assange has reported in the past that Libya has since been used as a conduit to get arms to jihadists in Syria.
Julian Assange also says he's received threats to silence him, but that those threats will never work.
He speaks to corruption in Washington DC in the form of "elite immunity" and "political immunity" -- and that besides Clinton, it also includes others, such as those within the NSA. But by now, we already know how corrupt Obama's administration is. So much for his promise of "transparency".
Maybe Trump can eradicate the cancer in government. It might prove to be too costly to bribe a billionaire. And besides, the Clinton's don't need another frigging presidential library in their family.

I'm a little miffed that areas like Africa, Australia, Oceania, and Latin America are discussed so little in High School History classrooms. I didn't learn much about them until college. It was there I figured out that we did study those parts of the World; in relation to topics which were spurred on by European Powers such as Imperialism, the World Wars, and Slavery. There's never any studies of an area for the sake of it, unless the students show genuine interest in the region. Hello and welcome to the a very special Project Maelstrom Productions video. In this video, I'm talking about Africa and other areas of the world marginalized in the History books. I'm a little miffed that areas like Africa, Australia, Oceania, and Latin America are discussed so little in High School History classrooms. I didn't learn much about them until college. Mitch Meyers began her career in brand management with the 7-Up Company. She was then recruited by Anheuser-Busch to launch Bud Light using the "Spuds McKenzie" concept, which was her brainchild. Mitch then became the Director of Marketing for a new Anheuser-Busch Beverage Division, making her, at the time, the highest ranking woman in Anheuser-Busch corporate marketing. In 1987, Ms. Meyers was named AdWeek Woman of the Year. After leaving Anheuser-Busch, Mitch formed Zipatoni Company, growing the firm to 350 employees, with offices in five states and billings exceeding forty million dollars a year. She attracted such clients as Motorola, e-Bay, Miller Brewing Company, Bacardi, and Snapple before retiring in 2003. Since her retirement, she became a vested partner in two additional businesses, Maison de Chanticleer and CasaMima. Ms. Meyers is a member of the SIUE Foundation Board of Directors having served as Treasurer. She currently serves as the Board president. Mitch was named the SIUE Distinguished Alumnus of the Year in 1992 and is a Lifetime member of the SIUE Alumni Association.
